The charming kitchen, with butcher block counters, features a stove, refrigerator, microwave, and an under-counter washer/dryer. A separate freezer can be brought into the unit (provided by landlord). The entrance to the apartment is through a picturesque garden (which belongs to the upstairs residence but can be reserved with advance notice for occasional entertaining or barbeques).

*Utilities are included* in the monthly rent (electricity, air conditioning, gas, heat, water, sewer, and trash removal). Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis, and while the unit is furnished, some pieces can be removed at the tenant's request. The mattress provided as part of the furnishings is full-size.

The apartment's central location is a short distance to Braddock Road Metro, Ronald Reagan National Airport, Trader Joe's, Harris Teeter, the Charles Houston Rec Center, Queen Street Library, parks, farmers' markets, the waterfront, numerous coffee shops and restaurants, and all of the dining/shopping Old Town has to offer.

Applications are submitted online, and there is a $50 nonrefundable application fee per adult. The first full month's rent, security deposit, and pet deposit (if applicable) are due at lease signing.
